Herschel Bernardi?
It sure sounds like actor Herschel Bernardi narrating!
These were great typewriters, functioning for years as the primary tool of many a professional author or screenwriter. An old writer friend of mine (a movie and tv writer) swore by his, which was built like "a tank" and served him well for many, many years. Very fast and efficient. A very interesting commercial!

Now that's a product you don't see anymore.
Nice commercial, has that "bleak" approach to narration that used to be common.

I used to repair and tune these babies years ago. We would strip them down and load them into a vat of solvent to give them a good cleaning. You could even plug them in and run them submerged in the liquid due to their double insulation design. Back when American manufacturing was at it's finest.
